that was not anger haha that was sarcasm. haha im losing my touch on sarcasm. latinos dont understand it so it doesnt get used very much!

well this week wiill have to be quick i dont have much time!

well wednesday we were able to teach raul and it got heated for a moment there during the lesson to the point were he stood up and said he wasnt going to get baptized but my comp bore a suuper strong testimony and he accepted after and we are going to hacve his baptism this friday. haha that man is goint ot get baptized. haha if i have to bear hug him and double dunk him like alma did in Mosiah 18 i will do it! haha its going down this friday!!! 

we had the zone leader counsel this last friday and so im getting what ever you guys are sending me even 4 weeks. that counsel was super good and recharged my batteries to keep goign and to find more and more people for the lord. we taugh a little kid that wants to get baptized andhe is goin to get baptized in 2 weeks and its going to be super sweet! his name is maximiliano. haha i gave him all my 5 gum that you guys have sent me because i actually cant chew gum on the mission! he was pretty happy about that and brought a pack with him to church yesterday!

haha saturday we walked quite a bit. haha my hamstrings were actually sore from going up and down all the hills but we did get tot put a baptism date with and invesitgator. its really hard for him to understand. the fam bernal knows him and said he use to be normal but did a ton of drugs and now we are teaching him haha so he came to church also and is going to get baptized on the 21 and so we are goin to work super hard with him to get him baptized!

haha so yesterday was day light saving right. we thought as we went to bed that the phone, that we use for the alarm clock, was going to change the time by itself and so we were like "oh yeah were good!" haha i then changed the alarm clock i brought with me just incase. so we wake up sundya morning and its all good and we went and got felipe and walked with him to the church, lo and behold we walk in and a little girl finished her testimony and we ended the sacrament meeting! keeping the ethington tradicion alive here in chile and showing up SUPER late to sacrament! but we did get to take that sacrament after but we did feel like sinners for missing church!! hahaha but we did make it on time to all of our lessons after! haha but it was pretty intersting and emberrasing ( i know i spelled that wrong but i dont remember how to spell it haha)

mom i just wanted to say that i hope you had a fantastic 19th birthday and that i love you a ton! you will have a letter arriving soon from me and i just hope you had a ridiculously good birthdya without me because in exactly one year from today i will be boridng and airplane to give you a birthday hug!!!

well that makes me more than happy that janci was able to give a talk. that is huge and i cant even imagine how hard that was but man that is freaking sweet!!!! and presidente is just a man. haha i cnat say anything else other than i would trust that guy with my life! he is a super good guy!

haha tell josie to go to SLCC! im thinking of going there also!

monday:

well we taught eduardo again and he doesnt want to go. he doesnt believe that he can pay his tithing and so we will see what happens with him. we then went and taught recient convert and it was  super cool. she got baptized 10 months ago and one year ago her daughter with autism died. we then were able to go to a family home evening with one of the families and it was kinda wierd we just got to sit there and listen. haha and learn. that was it. haha it feels wierd to do that!

tuesday.

we found a super sweet investigator! he is the bishops cousing and started asking th bishop a bunch of questions and so the bishop sent us to his house and he is so good!!! he wants to fill his heart beacuse he fills like he hasnt been able to find it! we actually werent able to find him for the rest of this week but yes we are going to continue passing by and we are hoping to put a date with him this week! we got to teach raul also and we taught him tihting and is good to go! we then walked around for a little and talked to people and took our clothes to the members house that washed our clothes. haha the guy plays golf and is  way funny. speaks super fast to haha me and my comp cant understand him sometimes!

wednesday.

had our district meeting and it was the last district meeting for one fo the sisters and so that was kinda cool. she gave a super swweet testimony about patriarchl blessings. and then we had spllits and i was with a kid from colorado. his s¿twin is in joshs mission and he has ten brothers and sisters. ahhah thats alot. thank you mom and dad for not having so many kids. haha. he loves star wars and the simpsons and is super goofy! also we taught a recient convert and she looked exactly like taylor martinez. haha it was way weird to see her. haha.

thursday

well we had a enlgish class and no one showed up ahah and then also we ate a bunch of completos for lunch. and then we taught the bernal family about family history and it was cool. ahha they then fed us dinner and ive never seen so much food in my whole life! haha we had to run home to be ontime and my comp almost threw up from how much food he ate. ahah it was slightly incredible how much food he ate! hahah

friday.

so went and put in the roof in the kitchen of a less active sister adn i just destroyed my thumb hammering in some nails.... haha 3 times. that felt super good. haha. and then we had once with her. and then we had a ward activity haha it was super ridiculous. we had dinner. haha a crap ton of chicken and rice. ahha and then me and comp had to run home again to get home on time. haha it was insane.

saturday.

had lunch with the bishop and gave a a thing called mechada. its just straigh junk food sloppy joe. haha. and  we taught that same less active lady about eternal marraige and it was cool to see her have that hope. ( she is the only member of her family) but it was super cool! and then we taught elias and elias. haha we were talking a little bit before the lesson, we taught tithing and they are extremely poor, and as we were talking the earthquake hit. ahah everything was shaking but they were just like, "relax, tranquilo no mas" haha and there we go. ahha it was for like 10 seconds and it wass actually pretty strong but nothing shook but yes the lights did flicker. haha and it rained a ton also satuday. haha and in the morning my comp just ocmpletely ate it going down a dirt hill. haha and had to change his pants be acuse he got mud all over them haha. oh yeah i ahd like a toe infection thing and my comp gave me a blessing and it was gone by sunday. that was awesome!

sunday

we had elias elias raul and an investigator named felipe (has mental problems but has a lot of fam that can get baptized) came to church and we had ward conference! haha felipe had drank quite a bit of wine the night before. haha you could definetly  smell it also!!!!!! ahah but it was fun. we got to go to a baptism with elias y elias and they loved it and are super excited to get baptized! ahaha its so sweet! and raul is just trying to prepare for his interview! and so we are now just waiting get it all finished with! and then we ahd a super sweet lesson with the bernal fam. we went to the church and taught them about  fam history. ahha they are now going to start looking for a the great grand partents ahah and maryan saw the great grandma phillips name on our famliy tree and thought that was pretty cool! hahah and then we had to run home again. haha and me and my comp both ate it because we played tag.... (haha probably shouldnt have on sunday) and he was chasing us and we both just ate it and now i am goign to havet o wash my suit. hahah its muddy!

also a side note. i have never eaten so much food in one week! ahha

haha well i have seen the guardian movie everywhere and we will have to watch it! and that makes me very happy that the people are coming together! it helps!

Monday: well i finnally had time to write the fam sanchez so hopefully i will be able to get them to them soon! and we also put a baptism date with our investigator Raul. haha he is a very humble guy and doesnt know how to read and its pretty hard for him to understand but he wants to get baptized so its super sweet! he eats lunch  and spends the day and one of the members house and so we can teach him every single day! haha its way cool to see him grow! and we also found a new famiy to teach. the parents of the mom were all baptized but she never did and so we are teaching her and her husband and they are super nice and beilieve in God a lot! haha there son surived a brain hernia and it was a miracle that he survived and so they are believers!!

tuesday:

so we prepared for the  zone meeting and set everything up i the mornign and the we had Presidente Kähnlein come and look at an apartment with us that is way close that we are probably going to move to pretty soon! then we were able to teach Eduardo. haha well that was the first lesson where i have been quite direct with someone about the gospel. but the spirit was super strong. we had to kind of lay out the stuff on the table and tell it to him straight becasue he had some wierd beliefs but we just let it go because he said he wanted to get baptized but now he is clinging on to those things and it impiding him from getting baptized. but the spirit was super strong and he said he was going to get down on his knees and pray to be able to pay his tithing. WITH FAITH NO MAS!!!

wednesday.

so we had the zone meeting and it was super good! haha its so fun to be able to presente everything and help the missionaries learn. hahah but seriously it just wiped me out. ahhah like spiritually! hahahi it is slightly incredible how tired you are after. ahha  we werent able to teach raul because he had to got to the hospital because he has high blood pressure. but we did teach our other investigator and we have to teach him with drawing the lessons out on post it notes but it works! haha! and we taught Elias. the son. and he is way excited to be baptized and be a member!!! 

Thursday.

weekly planning. so we do have that stand thing now so we are able to do that during the day now and it is helping we have it right in front of a bus stop and so we talk to them when they are waiting. its good! and then we taught the bernal family adn they are all super good. hahah we had solange prepare a taught about repentance adn she did way good on it and then we taught them about faith. it was kind of a short day. haha we also are teaching englihs and Piano class! MOM could you send me some piano stuff! really simple? and in spanish if you can find it! that would be awesome!

Friday:

we had splits and i was with elder hansen who is from enterprise utah. we went to a ward activity with raul and had some food and learned about doing stuff around the house! haha it was fun. haha and raul was able get to know a little more of the members! and then we taught that family from monday again! ahaha her sons were there and we were able to watch "because of him!" with them and we got to know them and it turns out that elder hansen´s uncle baptized the mom and dad of the mom of this family like thirty years ago! haha what a small world!!!

saturday.

we taught raul about the atonement and the we also taught elias and his dad in a family home evening with a family in the ward and we taught them restoration adn it was super fun and then me and my comp had to run home. hahah we actually to the bus that we took home. haha so we fasted as a zone from saturday to sunday and i seriously have never recieved so much food in my life. and we couldnt eat any of it. haha we ended the day with a bag of chocolate banana, organge, apple cake thing, alfajores, fanta, and a pineapple juice box! haha so crazy!!

sunday:

we church was interesting. so raul came to church and felt really bad from his high blood pressure. so one of the member ended up taking him tot he hospital and when he got there his heart beat was a 185. and this guy is 70 years old. so that was kind of scary. and elias the son came to church and he want to pass the sacrament! haha its so crayz! he is way good! we did the stand thing and found 2 goood people and then we taught elias and elias the word of wisdom and the dad was a drug dealer like 20 years ago but he is now clean and he gave us all his cofee and tea so he is now currently living the word of wisdom! haha Point for team MOROMON! we taught raul a really short lesson and then went to a lesson with the quorom president to a family less active and the mom just got back blood results way bad. her blood is basically acid and so it was kind of a sad lesson but we are going to start passing by there house quite a bit now. and then we taught the fam. bernal. cony and alex gave little talks about baptism and faith and the the bishop came with us to the lesson that we had with them and gave a blessing on there house. ahha what a day. 

love you mom and i just want you to know that i included you josie dad and ely in my fast and i know that the more we sacrifice the more the Lord blesses us! have faith!
